Hesitant to break with the party establishment's culture demanding unity, the DNC has stayed under the influence of the previous administration throughout this past year. Publishing such a report could have demonstrated that party leaders actually want to foster public discourse about the missteps that enabled the former president to win re-election. Yet, the DNC is proceeding under the pretense that there are no lessons to glean following the tragic debacle from the last cycle.
